| Descrizione e Settori di Applicazione: | The present research is concerned with the formal derivation of reduced models for a composite constituted by a thin elastic interphase embedded between two elastic media by means of an asymptotic analysis. In order to take into account the presence and the effects of the microstructure, the intermediate layer and the surrounding bodies will be modeled by considering different types of non-standard microstructural elastic materials, such as micromorphic, micropolar and second gradient materials.
