Descrizione e Settori di Applicazione: | Stochastic switching between metastable states enables detection of weak signals in strongly driven mechanical resonator. The project investigates the amplification of nanomotion through stochastic resonance. By adding noise to induce interwell jumps, the transitions are synched with the device dynamics. The objective is to determine an optimum noise intensity and an improved Signal-To-Noise-Ratio that can be exploited in sensing applications. bifurcations stochastic resonance nonlinear dynamics SNR |
